Description:

The memorial medal is dedicated to the symbol of suprahuman masculinity, strength, unshakable spirit, struggle, heroism and tragedy - the place of Mariupol and the defending heroes, as they harrowed yoga against the Russian occupiers. On the obverse of the medal there is an inscription: UKRAINE was written in black, under the maly the Sovereign Coat of Arms of Ukraine; the composition that symbolizes the local hero: the facade of the dramatic theater under sight (levoruch), the stylized constructions of Azovstal, on which bombs fly (right-handed); on a matte black mirrored inscription: МІСТО/MARIUPOL/HEROЇВ/2022, near the written word “Mariupol” the letter “i” is replaced by a candle as a symbol of remembrance for the dead, the letter “o” is a map of the place, created from two profiles - a child and an adult , like a symbol of primus deportation; at the bottom, on aphids stylized hvil, a yakir is depicted - one of the heraldic elements that is on the coat of arms of Mariupol, as an image of a hope for the birth of the Ukrainian city; logo of the Banknote and Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine (bottom right-handed).

On the reverse of the medal, on a mirror-like aphid, there is an image of an old Ukrainian warrior, ready to conquer the state to the rest; near the war, stylized ulamki were placed, zbroyu, crossed the sight and the vertical inscription AZOV (angular levoruch) STEEL (right-handed at the bottom).
